Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

By using UniLens (unilens.net), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a currently enrolled (or recently graduated) college student to use UniLens. By registering, you represent that this is true.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You may not share your account or impersonate others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Photographer Profiles

Photographers are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, including pricing, availability, and portfolio content. Portfolios must not contain illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing content. We reserve the right to remove any profile or content at our discretion.

4. Client Conduct

Clients must communicate respectfully. Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. Abuse of the inquiry or rating system may result in account termination.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans (Plus, Pro) are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@unilens.net.

6. Bookings and Transactions

UniLens is a discovery and communication platform only. We are not a party to any agreement between photographers and clients. All booking arrangements, payments between users, and disputes are solely between the photographer and client.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant UniLens a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content on the platform. You must only upload content you own or have rights to.

8. Prohibited Use

9. Disclaimer

UniLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of user-submitted content, or outcomes of photographer-client engagements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of UniLens after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
